That sleepy picture ….
what people are saying ...
About the film ‘Beyond Goodbye’
“View this with awe… elemental, brutally raw, beautifully open.” (The Good Funeral Guide)
About the film ‘Remembering Josh’
“A moving tribute to one young man by his loving family. How they get over his death remains unanswered. But how you put together a meaningful, memorable funeral is answered here in all its creative, colourful glory.” (Nicola Dela-Croix)
About the book ‘Released’
“As a photographer it’s probably the hardest project I have engaged in – as a father I think it has helped me stay sane.” (Jimmy Edmonds)
About the film ‘Beyond Goodbye’
“Don’t shy away from this film because you’re afraid it will remind you of your mortality and make you cry. Because that’s exactly why you need to see it. Death is part of life and by averting our gaze we deny ourselves the chance to really live it.” (Nicola Dela-Croix)
About the book ‘Released’
“I literally gasped at the way you worked with the ashes – treating them with such delicacy, as beauty not as leftovers.” (James Showers – Family Tree Funerals)
Thank you, Jimmy and Jane, for sharing this incredibly beautiful tribute to Josh…. although I don’t cry often, reading about Josh, and particularly watching the film, tears came easily. There is a madness in all this.. it defies belief really that any parent dealing with these circumstances can survive the pain. Chris Ford (mother of Adam who died in 2008 aged 20)
